About Build X Africa
Build X Africa is a Danish-African development and investment company founded by Mads Hansen, Roy Mulemi Senaji and Michael Elie Khoury. The company develops commercially sustainable projects in Africa with a focus on job creation, infrastructure, urban development, the experience economy and strategic market access for international companies. Our work combines international governance, local anchoring and a clear execution model, where projects are not only designed to look strong on paper, but to be built, operated and converted into measurable economic and social impact.
Build X Africa also specialises in developing projects and helping foreign companies enter African markets. This is done through local insight, strong partnerships and access to key decision-makers across both the public and private sectors, including authorities, ministries, presidential offices, senior executives and major African companies. The goal is to create a professional bridge between international capital, African growth markets and concrete projects with long-term impact.
Our core belief
Build X Africa was created as a commercial and sustainable alternative to traditional aid thinking. We recognise the importance of humanitarian aid in acute situations, but we do not believe that long-term development can be built on temporary donations alone. The most sustainable way forward is to create real jobs, stable incomes and companies that can grow. Without work, there is no economic freedom. Without economic freedom, there is no sustainable future.
That is why we do not focus only on helping children with clean water or short-term relief. We believe the stronger solution is to help parents gain access to real employment, so they can earn money, provide for their families and give their children proper schooling and education. When companies grow, new jobs are created. When new jobs are created, the next generation can enter a stronger economy. That is the core of Build X Africa: we are not building symbolic aid projects. We are building scalable commercial platforms with measurable impact.
