Strategic support from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Trade Council Program

Build X Africa is not merely a private company; it is a European-Africa development and investment platform with roots in both Africa and Denmark. The company benefits from dialogue, support and guidance from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Trade Council Program, which through its sustainability initiatives provides strategic advisory services, international networks and access to relevant partners. This international anchoring strengthens Build X Africa’s ability to develop commercially sustainable projects that create jobs, infrastructure and long-term economic value in across Africa.

Oceanic Inspiration

Investment transparency and responsible

With Build X Africa, investment capital is directed toward projects designed to create jobs, build companies, strengthen families and open new markets.

When a parent gets work, a child gets a stronger future.
When a company grows, a community becomes stronger.
When projects scale, economies change.

Any investment opportunity will be subject to applicable laws, investor eligibility, due diligence, risk disclosure and final legal documentation.

Donation transparency and responsible

His is not charity. This is future-building. A child’s future is not secured by one donation alone. It is secured when the family has income, when the local economy grows, when businesses can hire, and when communities can stand stronger on their own.

Build X Africa is built on transparency, documentation and responsible governance. Donations are used to support project development, legal setup, technical planning, stakeholder engagement, safety preparation and other activities necessary to move projects from concept to execution. We aim to report clearly on progress, use of funds and project milestones, so donors can follow how their contribution supports real development.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals as a Strategic Governance Framework

Build X Africa uses the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a strategic framework for project development, governance and investment decisions.
Build X Africa anchors its activities in SDG 8, SDG 7, SDG 9 and SDG 11, as these goals directly support the company’s core philosophy: lasting development is created through commercially sustainable projects that generate jobs, strengthen local economies and build physical capacity in society.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

SDG 8 is central to Build X Africa. The company’s projects must be commercially driven while also creating real social value through employment, local income and long-term economic growth.

For Build X Africa, this means that projects are assessed based on their ability to create jobs, develop local skills and strengthen the economic foundation of families. The goal is not temporary aid, but lasting employment, enabling people to build income, provide for their families and create better opportunities for the next generation.

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

SDG 7 is integrated into Build X Africa’s projects through a focus on renewable energy, energy-efficient operations and intelligent resource use. Solar energy, low-energy infrastructure and smart energy systems should, where possible, form part of the technical and financial design of each project.

This has both sustainable and commercial value. Energy-efficient solutions can reduce operating costs, strengthen project resilience and reduce dependence on unstable energy supply. Where possible, surplus energy or energy infrastructure may also benefit nearby local communities and create additional social value.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

SDG 9 is directly aligned with Build X Africa’s focus on major development projects, physical infrastructure, innovation and professionalisation. The company’s projects are not only designed to create activity, but to build lasting assets, systems and structures that can support future growth.

For Build X Africa, this means that projects must be developed with high technical quality, clear governance, professional operations and scalability. Infrastructure is not understood only as roads, buildings and facilities, but also as organisational capacity, investment structure, supplier networks and operational systems that make growth possible.

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

SDG 11 anchors Build X Africa’s projects in urban development, destination development, public transport, local integration and cooperation with authorities and local communities. Projects should not be developed in isolation, but as part of the urban and social context in which they operate.

This means that Build X Africa works with accessibility, mobility, local engagement, urban quality and long-term community value. The projects must contribute to stronger local communities, better urban spaces, increased activity and new economic opportunities for citizens, businesses and public stakeholders.

Build X Africa bruger FN’s Verdensmål som en praktisk investerings- og udviklingsramme: kapital skal ikke kun bruges, den skal bygges ind i projekter, der kan skabe varig økonomisk og samfundsmæssig effekt.

Foundation

Build X Africa Foundation

As part of Build X Africa’s long-term commitment to transparent and responsible value creation, we intend to establish the Build X Africa Foundation as an independent foundation with its own board, governance structure and decision-making framework.

The foundation will be designed to receive up to 20% of Build X Africa’s annual profit, subject to board approval, financial performance and applicable legal requirements. The purpose is to ensure that commercial success is converted into long-term social, educational and community value across Africa.

The foundation will support projects within education, skills development, job creation, economic inclusion, community development, urban development, research, innovation, cultural initiatives and selected humanitarian purposes. Its work will be aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4, 8, 10 and 11.

A key part of the foundation’s mandate will be to strengthen sustainable communities by supporting African art, culture, identity and creative programmes. This ensures that Build X Africa’s impact is not only measured in infrastructure and employment, but also in dignity, cultural confidence and local ownership.

The foundation will operate as an independent entity, but with a strategic connection to Build X Africa through statutes, cooperation agreements and transparent reporting. This structure is intended to ensure professional separation, strong governance and measurable impact, while keeping the foundation closely linked to projects with real development value.
